Nichibocars Best Stand : 2009 Navaisha Horticultural Fair, Kenya

Nicky Thairu was Nichibocars’ representative at the Navaisha Horticultural Fair this year that ran from Sep 11th to Sep 12th, 2009. Nicky received many visitors to the Nichibocars’s booth outdoors on two glorious sunny days. Accompanying Nicky were two fantastic models that brought the crowds in. One was a stunning red, sporty Volkswagon Golf 2002 model, and the other was a sleek, best bargain Nissan Sunny.

Time and time again, Nichibocars has proved a big hit with the visitors to the show and also to the organisers. Many Kenyans took advantage of the beautiful weather to visit Nicky for free consultations about their transportation needs. One particular customer was so impressed by the stunning red Golf that he bought it immediately. The sleek Nissan Sunny was confirmed and sold a few days later to one of the interested visitors.

Nicky had lots of fun meeting new clients and catching up with old clients. He went through many company profiles and flyers during the two day event as many people came to alleviate their anxieties about importing a used vehicle direct from Japan. It was also nice to hear that Nichibocars has developed a great reputation amongst the Kenyan community with many visitors coming to the show just to talk with Nicky.

To top off a fantastic two days of consulting and exhibition, the organisers of the Naivasha Horticultural Fair awarded the Nichibocars stand as the Best Stand at the show for 2009. We received a trophy for our recognition from the organisers. Nicky was very proud to receive the award on behalf of Nichibocars and commented how much this proves Nichibocars’ seriousness in the Kenyan market.

Again, we’d like to thank the organisers and visitors of the show for their support and kindness. We look forward to next year’s show and hope we can provide more vehicles for our clients’ transportation needs.

Nichibocars.com at the Lusaka Agricultural and Trade Show 2009

Nichibocars.com was represented at the Lusaka Agricultural and Trade Show this year by James Hanna. The show ran from July 30th to Aug 3rd and was well attended by both exhibitors and visitors during the 5 days. There were many exhibitors from local businesses as well as international companies, but very few used car exporters such as Nichibocars.

An advertisement in the local newspaper, The Post, and in the local magazine, Auto Connection, alerted many interested people to Nichibo’s stand for free consultation. The stand was rarely left alone as visitors poured in constantly for the 5 days. By the last day, James’ voice was hoarse as a result of the continuous lectures and consultations about the used car business in Japan and what Nichibocars had to offer for the Zambian clients. There was much interest in a variety of types of vehicles such as sedans, sports cars, vans, station wagons, coaches, minibuses, buses, trucks, and 4wd’s. It is obvious many Zambians realise the value in used Japanese vehicles, and by the end of the consultations, it was evident that many Zambians have a lot of faith in Nichibocars and it’s vast stock of good quality used cars for the Zambian market.

It is pleasing to note that quite a few of the visitors have ordered and paid for their used vehicle since the visit. The Nichibocars.com stand was a huge success and we look forward to seeing many more Zambians at next year’s show.

Total Motor Show 2009 – Nairobi, Kenya

Nichibo Kenya Limited was represented at this year’s Total Kenya Motorshow by the Director, Nicky Thairu, and two beautiful assistants. NichiboCars was the only exporter of used Japanese vehicles represented at the show, which is a true indication of our genuine reputation in the Kenyan Motor Industry.

We received many visitors over the 3 days asking about Nichibocars and their used Japanese vehicles for the Kenyan Car Market. We’d like to thank the clients who already purchased vehicles from us that came along for support, and also thank the new clients who have seen NichiboCars‘ advertisements in The Nation newspapers.

As usual, we received many inquiries about Toyota cars. It is truly amazing about the popularity of models such as Corolla sedans NZE and vans, Corona Premio, Landcruiser, Rav-4, and Prado. But there was also just as many inquiries for Nissan and Mitsubishi vehicles like the X-Trail, Sunny, and Pajero. Many visitors expressed their appreciation of Nichibo’s long running promotion of free AA Kenya Membership with every purchase of a used Japanese vehicle from Nichibocars.com web site.

It was very pleasing to hear so many visitors say they heard about our reputation for genuine quality vehicles and our professional Presentation B services. They all agreed that having a local office in Nairobi meant they could import their used Japanese car with peace of mind. And our biggest advantage is having a used car export website that everyone can peruse any time of day or night without having to log in or sign up for membership. That’s because we have “nothing to hide”. We also appreciated the suggestions on how best to improve our website for the importers.

On a separate note, we were thrilled to receive a Certificate for Special Recognition of Excellence by the Total Kenya Motorshow Organisers for our booth.
